1263. I think this is probably an old scale that is missing some parts, other guesses and possible answers for this one:
-walking stick that is missing the ferrule on the end, with a hook that was most likely added at a later date.
-cannon ram rod
-ceremonial mace
-surveyor's tool
-for grabbing a small chain

1264. A videotape cartridge used in an Ampex 'ACR-25', the tape is 2" wide and was thread by air currents. These were used mainly for commercial playbacks.

1266. A grain sampler, various sized rods could be attached depending on how deep into the truckload of grain you wanted to test:

1267. Heikes' gun hand protector, made by the Chamberlin Cartridge and Target Company for use by trapshooters, according to the patent:
... used to protect the left hand in supporting the barrels of a double-barreled shotgun during rapid firing to prevent the same from being burned by the great heat so resulting.

1268. A tinner's flanged hammer, the flange is used for lifting the locking edge of a sheet of roofing tin, patented in 1903, number 734,738:
